These 22 porcelain enamel panels depict a "union" of black-and-white patterned human figures. A tangle of arms and heads reaches forward in each panel, reflecting both the movement of trains through the Union Street subway station and the progressive union of residents of this racially and culturally diverse Brooklyn neighborhood. Additionally, the station has a series of track wall panels designed by the artist. An MTA Arts for Transit Project.
