Designed as a visitors` center for a ten-hectare sculpture park, the pavilion is a total fusion of art, architecture and landscape. For green design purposes, it is built with regionally available materials gathered from within a ten-kilometer radius. An earth and vegetation sheltered roof augments seasonal climate control. The building is bonded together by a network of cast stone ‘T` shaped columns, which also provide a ribbon-like wall system and varied sculpture bases throughout the property.
