The project transformed a 1970s office building into a place of worship. The approach involved breaking open the beige building and allowing the soft, diffused light of the Pacific Northwest to permeate its interior. The north wing of this office was reimagined as a new sanctuary, designed as a Mass Timber and steel structure that could capture a spirit of transcendence in its geometry, acoustics, and light. This is one of atelierjones' initial Mass Timber construction projects.
