The discovery Garden at The Brookside School was the passion of one of the mother`s involved with the school, Ann North. A master gardener with boundless energy, she took the weedy back lot of the school and transformed it into a place to explore. Used by teachers as a place to make art and explore hands on science it is also a place inspired by the original founders. Their desire was to make a place where giving back, and the importance of generations was the key to education. The images in the seating blocks and paving are inspired by these concepts.
