Historical photographs of Harlem adorn the walls of the 125th St Subway station. These photographs, clicked in the early 20th century, show how the people, streetscapes, buildings and market spaces of the iconic New York neighborhood looked. The pictures have been sourced from organizations such as the US History and Geneology Division of the New York Public Library and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Photographers include PL Sperr, L. Balque and Edwin Levick.
