Urban Oasis (5th Ave Subway Mural)

Description

With Central Park and the Central Park Zoo so nearby, artist Ann Schaumburger decided that there was no better way to appeal to kids and kids at heart with her work for the 5th Ave - 59th St station than by portraying some Central Park animals at play. Her glass mosaic can be seen throughout the station. An MTA Arts for Transit project.
