Hauser Hall was designed by the noted Boston firm of Kallmann, McKinnell and Wood and was completed in 1994. It serves as a classroom and academic office building for the Harvard Law School, and received the Harleston Parker Medal from the Boston Society of Architects in 1994 for being "the most beautiful piece of architecture, building, monument or structure within the limits of the City of Boston or of the Metropolitan Parks District". The site is named for Harvard alumnae and benefactors Gustave and Rita Hauser of New York. The building was the 1994 winner of the Boston Society of Architects Harleston Parker Medal.
