This landmark five-story townhouse serves as the home of the Vilcek Foundation, which raises awareness of immigrant contributions in America and fosters appreciation of the arts and sciences. ARO completely refashioned the interior behind the historic, marble street-front façade, which dates to 1919. Galleries were placed on the ground and second floors, and offices on the third and fourth. New bronze entry doors flank a central marble panel, while a glass curtain wall was introduced at the rear elevation.
