The Committee appointed at the meeting of merchants on Thursday, to make arrangements for the Union Mass Meeting to be held in Union Square, at 3 o'clock to-day, held a meeting yesterday, and perfected the arrangements.

A resolution was passed recommending all citizens and societies attending the meeting, to refrain from displaying any banner or motto, except the American flag
