B Is for Birds in the Bronx

Alvarez took inspiration for these faceted-glass windscreens from the different species of birds that populate the Bronx. Fittingly, she chose to depict these often-overlooked denizens of the borough in a translucent white, rendering them almost invisible from certain angles. An MTA Arts for Transit project.
