Commissioned for the lobby of a recreation center, this mural symbolizes the dreams and ambitions of the community`s children: careers in sports, music, painting, writing, dance, and education. In the sky are the community`s ancestors, whose legacies are rich in tradition and culture. The baby, at center, represents the rebirth of the community that has come together with all of its talents to give hope, provide security, and create an environment in which every child can become successful.
