11-mile pedestrian and bicycle trail including three trailheads along a urban wash in Las Vegas. The trailhead consisted of native landscaping, shade structures reminiscent of aboriginal shelters, and signage. Trails were made of stabilized earth, drinking fountains “gray water” irrigated an adjacent tree and rubble from imploded casinos along the Las Vegas Strip were re purposed as seating and rip rap. Five shade structures, native landscaping, way finding and amenities. Structure is based on indigenous Native American desert structures.
