Norie Sato uses a tree rendered in etched glass, wood, and aluminum as a metaphor for Clark College Library`s role to “increase the foliage of our own trees, to strengthen our roots and trunks, and to add new leaves as we go.” Known for architecturally integrated work, Sato extended “Branik`s Tree” from the ground floor to the skylights above. This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Clark College.
