Douglas "Wrong Way" Corrigan

Description

Douglas Corrigan was nicknamed  'Wrong Way' after he flew from Floyd Bennett Field to Ireland instead of returning home to Long Beach, California, a navigational error that seemed to have been deliberate when he was denied permission to make the transatlantic flight.
