Sam Roberts is a pro-bono history advisor/writer for Federal Hall. He has been a reporter, columnist, and editor for The New York Times and New York Daily News during a journalism career that spans more than 50 years. He is also the host of The New York Times Close Up, an hour-long weekly news and interview program on cable channel NY1 that he inaugurated in 1992. He is the author of 10 books including The Brother: The Untold Story of the Rosenberg Case, which was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. A native New Yorker, he lives in New York City.
